Umm, yeah, so I figured with all you bexley kids getting a livejournal a community is bound to be created, and I might as well take the initiative.

First topic for discussion (Thank you lily):
How fucking crazy is the emily dickinson impersonator going to be? How many people will laugh when she says her name is "dickinson" (get it? "DICK IN SON" HAHAHAHAHAHA).

it's come to this?

omgzz
livejournal went to hell when they did away with codes. now i can't be all cool and elitist and i kri because i'm losing emo/scene points as the days go by. especially since my bangs are growing out.
i should just accept the truth.

anyway
emily dickinson must have been quite the bitch. think lamuth without all the crazy, and fresh from her divorce.
bitter bitter bitter. if she was alive today i bet she would be a tree kid.

Re: it's come to this?

yeah, i made an entry "Emo Figures In History" a long time ago, featuring her, and that one kid on American Dreams with the Rivers glasses. I'd dig it up, but A. it probably wasn't funny, and B. it might be friends-only'ed

oh, labels

the thing i'm always surpised about is, you see thousands of scene kids on lj, but i never see any around town, with the exception of the newport; they breed them in the bathrooms there, literally.

but our school is turning into quite the scenster. book club reading fight club and palahniuk? pretty soon they'll require pink and black polka dot attire.

Re: oh, labels

i take responsibility for "fight club" book club (well, me and that amin kid).

and i'm thinking that it's just hard to be scene in school... teachers don't look kindly upon people signing their name joexcore and such.

Didn't that speaker remind you of The Ring? She was like, "The evil ones have got you too? They can't get me because I'm still alone." I don't think what I've just written can describe my horror, but believe me, I was scared. And I laughed. And I learned that Emily Dickinson's poems go to the tune of Gilligan's Island and The Yellow Rose of Texas.

"Emily, you rascal!"

OKay, the whole idea is nuts in the first place and that woman should have been the first to know it. If she were truly Emily, she would have run to the top of the stairs or walked by with all her clothes on and had us made a diagnosis.

My favorite part was the way she quoted poems to answer questions. I know Emily was crazy and agoraphobic, but I don't think she spoke in verse all the time. But what do I know.

Oh, and the gingerbread...I'm going to do that.

I saw Mrs. Yoder in the hallway after school and she asked me if I liked it and I laughed and she said you know I can see you doing that in a few years to which I replied with a horrified stare. Please, someone, tell me it isn't so, tell me Mrs. Yoder is just as crazy as Emily.

Correction, my favorite part was when she took out her
hair[ball] and threw on the chair in front of me.

Mrs. Yoder needs a good dose of boardslap.

She walks around the halls throwing newspapers at people and talks to me even thought I've never met her, not even once, ever. I think shes just as crazy. if not more.
